Acceptable Use Policy
Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules governing your use of the DashboardFox cloud-hosted platform and related services operated by 5000fish, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). It applies to all account holders, agency owners, agency team members, workspace users, and anyone else who accesses the Service.
This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to this AUP. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Permitted use
DashboardFox is a business intelligence and reporting platform. Permitted uses include:
- Connecting to your own databases and data sources to build reports and dashboards
- Creating and sharing reports with users inside your workspace
- Publishing public-facing reports and dashboards via Public View Licenses
- Scheduling automated report delivery to internal and external recipients
- Accessing workspace data and reports programmatically via the DashboardFox API
- White-labeling workspaces and delivering reporting solutions to clients, as described in Agency & white-label use below
- Building embedded reporting solutions for clients using custom domains and branding
Use of the Service must remain within the capacity limits of your subscription tier. See our Fair Use Policy for specific limits by plan.
Agency & white-label use
DashboardFox is designed for agencies and managed service providers who deliver reporting and analytics to their clients. The following uses are explicitly permitted:
- White-labeling workspaces — applying custom branding, custom domains, and your own visual identity to a DashboardFox workspace delivered to a client
- Reselling workspace access — charging clients for access to a DashboardFox workspace you manage and operate on their behalf, including as part of a broader managed service offering
- Multi-client deployments — managing multiple client workspaces under a single agency account
- Delivering to sub-agencies — reselling workspace access to clients who are themselves agencies, provided all end workspaces remain under your agency account and all usage remains within your subscription limits
Agency owners are responsible for ensuring that their clients and downstream users comply with this AUP. Violations by clients or workspace users are treated as violations by the agency owner.

Where suspension or termination results from an AUP violation, no refund will be issued. See the Terms of Service for the full termination and suspension provisions, including the appeal process.
We will endeavor to provide notice of enforcement actions where it is safe and practical to do so, but we are not obligated to do so in cases where immediate action is required to protect the Service, other customers, or third parties.
