Cookie Policy
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners about how their sites are used. We also use related technologies including localStorage and sessionStorage, which store data in your browser locally rather than sending it to a server with every request.
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, what they do, and how you can control them. It applies to the DashboardFox management portal (my.dashboardfox.app and my-eu.dashboardfox.app) and the DashboardFox marketing website (dashboardfox.com).
Where we use cookies
We use cookies in two contexts:
- dashboardfox.com — our marketing website. Cookies here are used for analytics and to manage your consent preferences.
- my.dashboardfox.app / my-eu.dashboardfox.app — the management portal where you manage your subscription, workspaces, and account settings. Cookies here include payment processing, support tools, and analytics.
Cookies set by DashboardFox are not present inside customer workspace applications ([slug].dashboardfox.app or custom domains) with one exception: if the HelpHub support widget is enabled for a workspace, it loads the HelpCrunch support SDK directly within that workspace environment without a Concord consent gate. This is intentional — workspace applications do not run Concord. Workspace owners can disable HelpHub and product tours (Flook) for their users at any time via Settings → Branding. Cookies set within a workspace are part of the workspace environment operated by the agency owner and are not governed by this policy. Agency owners are responsible for their own cookie disclosures to their workspace users.
Cookie categories
We group cookies into four categories. You can manage your preferences for non-essential categories at any time using the consent banner or the preferences panel.
Strictly necessary
Required for the service to function. These cookies cannot be disabled — without them, core features like payment processing, login sessions, and security functions would break. They are set as soon as you visit and do not require your consent.
Functional
Not strictly required, but they enable important features like our support widget, bug reporting tool, product tours, and remembering your support conversations. Disabled by default for visitors in consent-required regions until you accept.
Analytics
Help us understand how the management portal and marketing site are used — page views, feature usage, and session behaviour. We use this data to improve the product. Disabled by default until you accept.

Linked sub-services
From within DashboardFox you may be directed to sub-services hosted on separate domains, including our knowledge base (help.dashboardfox.com), community forum (support.dashboardfox.com), product roadmap (roadmap.dashboardfox.com), and video library (videos.dashboardfox.com). These sub-services are operated by third-party platforms on our behalf and set their own cookies under their own domains.
Cookies set on those domains are outside the scope of this policy and are governed by the cookie practices of the respective platform. We are not responsible for cookies set on third-party hosted sub-services. Where we have data processing agreements with these platforms, they are listed in our Sub-processor Registry.
Managing your preferences
When you first visit the management portal or marketing site, a consent banner gives you the option to accept all cookie categories, deny non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences by category. You can revisit your choices at any time by clicking the Cookie Preferences link in the page footer.
You can also manage cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent core features — including payment processing and login — from working correctly.
