Every license includes one year of software upgrades and one year of priority support from our team. After year one, both are optional renewals. Your software continues to work forever regardless of renewal status.
A named user license is assigned to a specific individual. All roles (admin, builder, viewer) require a named license. You can reassign licenses as your team changes.
Yes — at a 5:1 ratio. 25 named licenses can become 5 concurrent licenses, allowing any number of users to share access with a limit on simultaneous sessions.
Your software keeps working forever — you own the license. Your first year of upgrades and priority support is included. After that, renew at 12% of your license cost for upgrades only, or 18% for upgrades plus priority support. Community support via support.dashboardfox.com is always free. Save 30% by adding renewal years at initial purchase.
The core reporting engine, visualizations, data connections, and security model are the same. The self-hosted version includes 1 branding policy and does not include Dashboard FastCache or Dynamic Data Source routing — those are available in DashboardFox Cloud at higher tiers or in Yurbi by default. Cloud-managed features like custom domains, IP restrictions, TDE, and billing management depend on your own infrastructure setup.
DashboardFox self-hosted is designed for internal use. Customer-facing or white-label use is possible but requires a separate OEM agreement. For embedded analytics with unlimited branding, dynamic data sources, and dashboard caching built in, we recommend our sister product Yurbi — purpose-built for OEM and customer-facing use.
Yes. By default, DashboardFox connects to our license server for activation. For air-gapped deployments, we exchange license files manually. No internet required to operate.
Yes. Contact support to unlock your license from the current server. Each license is tied to one server at a time, but transfers are straightforward.
Yes. Within 12 months, upgrade to a higher tier by paying the difference. After 12 months, add licenses at current tier pricing. Active maintenance required to add licenses.
