Klipfolio publishes its pricing openly, which puts it ahead of most BI vendors. But the published plan price is rarely what you'll end up paying. Dashboard limits, data refresh add-ons, white-label fees, and SSO costs stack on top of the base tier — and for agencies or teams with more than a handful of dashboards, that stacking adds up fast.
This breakdown covers every Klipfolio pricing tier, both the business and agency plan tracks, and every published add-on as of April 2026. We also walk through real-world scenarios showing what different team types actually pay. Prices are annual billing rates unless otherwise noted.
One note upfront: Klipfolio has two separate products — Klips (the dashboard and reporting platform) and PowerMetrics (a newer, separate analytics product). This article covers Klips pricing only. They are sold and priced independently.
Klipfolio Business Plans
Klipfolio's business plans are built for internal teams tracking KPIs and operational metrics. All four tiers include unlimited users — the constraint is how many dashboards you can build and how frequently your data refreshes.
| Plan | Annual price | Dashboards | Data refresh | Key additions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base | $120/mo | 3 | Every 4 hours | 130+ integrations, logo, PDF reports, scheduled reports, published links |
| Grow | $190/mo | 10 | Every 1 hour | + Data modeling and join |
| Team | $310/mo | 20 | Every 15 minutes | + SSO, Warm Up Refresh |
| Team+ | $600/mo | 40 | Up-to-the-minute | + Custom onboarding, priority support |
The dashboard limit is the most significant constraint to plan around. Three dashboards on Base sounds manageable until you realize that separating marketing, sales, and operations into distinct dashboards already puts you at the limit. Ten on Grow gives more room for small teams. Twenty on Team is where most mid-size organizations land — but agencies or teams with multiple departments or clients will hit it quickly.
The refresh rate gap between tiers is also worth understanding. Base refreshes every four hours, which is adequate for weekly trend analysis but too slow for anything resembling live monitoring. Near-real-time refresh (the dedicated queue that updates more frequently) is only included on Team+ at $600/month — on all lower tiers it's a $139/month add-on.
SSO is included in Team and Team+ plans. If you're on Base or Grow and need single sign-on, it's a $49/month add-on.
Klipfolio Agency Plans
Klipfolio maintains a separate pricing track for agencies, consultants, and resellers. Agency plans add a client limit (the number of distinct client accounts you can manage) and include white-label on the higher tiers.
| Plan | Annual price | Dashboards | Clients | White-Label Bundle |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $160/mo | 5 | 5 | Not included |
| Lite | $240/mo | 15 | 15 | Not included |
| Pro | $440/mo | 30 | 30 | Included |
| Premier | $900/mo | 80 | 80 | Included |
The agency Starter and Lite plans do not include the White-Label Bundle — you'd need to add it at $299/month. That makes Starter + white-label $459/month and Lite + white-label $539/month. At that point, the agency Pro plan at $440/month is the more economical choice if you need white-label, since it includes the bundle plus 30 dashboards and 30 client slots.
All agency plans include SSO, priority support on Pro and Premier, and the same 130+ integrations as the business plans. Refresh rates follow similar tier logic — lower tiers refresh less frequently, with near-real-time available as an add-on.
Add-Ons — Where the Real Cost Is
Klipfolio's add-on model is the most important part of understanding what you'll actually pay. Most teams evaluating Klipfolio end up needing at least one or two of these, and the costs stack independently on top of the base plan.
| Add-on | Price (annual billing) | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Extra dashboards | $8/mo each | Add dashboards beyond your plan limit |
| Near-real-time refresh | $139/mo | Dedicated queue for more frequent data updates |
| Custom domain | $69/mo | Use your own URL for the Klipfolio login page |
| Custom theme | $69/mo | Upload CSS/JS to restyle the interface |
| White-Label Bundle | $299/mo | Branding removal + custom domain + custom theme (all three) |
| Warm Up Refresh | $39/mo | Pre-refresh data sources once daily so data is ready on login |
| SSO | $49/mo | Single sign-on (Base and Grow plans only — included in Team+) |
| Priority support | $49/mo | Move to front of support queue, business hours access |
| Dedicated server | $699/mo | Private server for higher performance on complex dashboards |
A few things worth noting about the White-Label Bundle specifically. It bundles three separate add-ons — branding removal, custom domain, and custom theme — at $299/month. If you purchased them individually (custom domain at $69/month plus custom theme at $69/month) you'd still need to add branding removal on top, which makes the bundle the economical path for anyone who needs all three. However, if you only need a custom domain without full white-label, $69/month is the standalone price.
The dedicated server at $699/month is worth flagging for teams evaluating Klipfolio for complex dashboards. If you experience slow load times — a common complaint in user reviews for accounts with large datasets or many data sources — Klipfolio's recommended path is this add-on. That's a significant additional cost that doesn't show up in plan comparison tables.
What Teams Actually Pay — Real Scenarios
The plan price and the actual bill diverge most visibly when you model specific team configurations. Here are three common scenarios.
Scenario 1: Small internal team, 10 dashboards, no white-label needed. The Grow plan covers this at $190/month. If the team needs SSO, add $49/month ($239/month total). If they want data refreshing more frequently than hourly, add the near-real-time refresh at $139/month ($329/month total). The Grow plan alone is reasonable — add-ons push it toward Team plan territory without the Team plan's dashboard allowance.
Scenario 2: Agency managing 20 clients, needs white-label, 25 dashboards. The agency Pro plan at $440/month covers this — 30 dashboards, 30 clients, White-Label Bundle included. This is where the agency plan track makes more sense than the business plan track. Trying to replicate this on the business side: Team ($310) + White-Label Bundle ($299) + 5 extra dashboards ($40) = $649/month. The agency Pro plan is significantly cheaper for this configuration.
Scenario 3: Team needing 45 dashboards, white-label, and near-real-time refresh. Business Team plan ($310) + 25 extra dashboards ($200) + White-Label Bundle ($299) + near-real-time refresh ($139) = $948/month. Alternatively, agency Pro ($440) + 15 extra dashboards ($120) + near-real-time ($139) = $699/month. Neither is cheap for what is still a mid-market dashboard use case — and at both price points, row-level security is still unavailable regardless of spend.
What's Not Available at Any Price
Two limitations are worth calling out clearly because they're architectural, not tier-based.
Row-level security. Klipfolio does not offer row-level security at any tier or add-on price. You can control which dashboards users can access, but you cannot configure the same dashboard to show different data to different users automatically. For agencies serving multiple clients from a single account, or internal teams where different departments should see only their own data, this is a hard constraint. Upgrading to Team+ at $600/month doesn't change this — the feature simply doesn't exist in the platform.
Self-hosted deployment. Klipfolio is cloud-only. There is no on-premise or self-hosted option at any price. Organizations with data residency requirements that can't use cloud-hosted BI or who need to deploy inside their own infrastructure will need to look elsewhere.
How DashboardFox Compares on Pricing
We're DashboardFox, so the context is noted upfront. We write these pricing breakdowns because we think buyers deserve accurate numbers, not because we're trying to obscure anyone's costs.
The structural difference is that DashboardFox doesn't limit dashboards or charge per-dashboard fees, and includes white-label branding and row-level security on every plan from $99/month. The add-on model works differently — you pay for more active users or more infrastructure capacity, not for individual features. For teams where Klipfolio's add-on stacking is the pain point, that's the comparison worth making.
Where Klipfolio has a genuine advantage: pre-built connectors to 130+ SaaS tools. If your data lives in Google Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Facebook and you want to dashboard it without a database or data warehouse in between, Klipfolio's connector library is the shortest path. DashboardFox is database-first — we connect to SQL databases, data warehouses, and REST API endpoints. If your marketing data flows into a warehouse, we query it there. If it doesn't, Klipfolio is likely the better fit for that specific use case.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Klipfolio pricing monthly or annual?
Klipfolio publishes pricing based on annual subscriptions billed annually. Monthly billing is available but at higher rates — contact Klipfolio directly for monthly pricing. Add-on prices listed on their public pricing page are also based on annual billing.
What is the difference between Klipfolio Klips and Klipfolio PowerMetrics?
Klips is Klipfolio's original dashboard product — customizable dashboards, 130+ data source integrations, client reporting, and the pricing described in this article. PowerMetrics is a separate, newer product focused on centralized metric definitions and AI-ready self-serve analytics for SMBs. They are sold and priced independently of each other. This article covers Klips only.
Does Klipfolio have a free plan?
No permanent free plan. A 14-day free trial is available with no credit card required. The trial includes access to most Klips features.
What is included in the White-Label Bundle?
The White-Label Bundle at $299/month includes three things: branding removal (Klipfolio's name and logo removed from the interface and login page), a custom domain (your own URL), and a custom theme (CSS and JavaScript upload to restyle the interface). All three are bundled together. Each component can also be purchased separately — custom domain and custom theme are $69/month each, though purchasing them separately plus branding removal costs more than the bundle.
Does Klipfolio offer row-level security?
No. Klipfolio does not offer row-level security at any tier. You can control which users can access which dashboards, but there is no mechanism to show different data to different users viewing the same dashboard. This is a platform-level limitation, not a missing tier feature — it doesn't unlock at a higher price.
When does Klipfolio make sense despite the add-on costs?
Klipfolio makes the most sense for marketing and operations teams that need to pull data directly from SaaS tools — Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, Facebook Ads — without a database or warehouse in between. The 130+ pre-built connectors are a genuine differentiator. If you have fewer than 10–20 dashboards, don't need white-label or row-level security, and your data primarily lives in SaaS applications, the base or Grow plan is a reasonable fit. The add-on math gets painful for agencies and teams with larger dashboard counts or white-label requirements.
